The curator staff assured me that what I saw on display was only the tip of the iceberg.

The museum is amazing. I've seen some of the "collection" that is not on display. It is VERY impressive. They'd need many times the space that they currently occupy to display it properly. And some of it would only interest the most inveterate collectors (not many people would care to see every mark and variant of a single gun).

The gift shop is overpriced but you'd have to visit a dozen shops or web sites to find everything that they offer in one place. It makes it worthwhile. The range is very, very nice but it is always crowded.
