...tragedies like the one that just happened take us back to the equally old question of whether individual liberty is a better defense against human evil than the entrenched organizations of government.
Do we want a society run by the flower of chivalry, who commit atrocities according to a plan for a better society, or by peasants with machine guns? The flower of chivalry can promise us a utopian world without evil, but the peasant with a machine gun promises us that we can protect ourselves from evil when it comes calling.
1795 Springfield Muskets 1801 1813 12 It isn't really guns that the gun controllers are afraid of, it's a country where individual agency is still superior to organized control, where things are unpredictable because the trains don't run on time and orders don't mean anything. But chivalry is dead. The longbow and the cannon killed it and no charge of the light brigade can bring it back. And we're better for it.
The entrenched organizations of government are human evil.
Mr. Greenfield is a brilliant man. All I can say is, end the mass druggings of school children, stop the war on boys especially white boys (the left admits this)and put real men in school as authority figures. Actually the soft underbelly of the left is being exposed in this case.
Well said. I think we might need to take some old fashioned chivalric action against the left.
Society has been wimpified.

Give me liberty, or give me death.
The teachers of Connecticut had no liberty. They were given death.
Yet the stupidity continues. The tragic death of 20 innocents is STILL not enough to conclude:
GIVE ME LIBERTY!!!!!!
And every liberal in the country can fly to effin hell.
One way to stop the slaughter of children would be to outlaw abortion as birth control.
Profoundly stated, my friend.......
As I was arguing with the 1000's of idiots on a lib forum yesterday, one of them had the screen name "live free or die".
Isn’t that the sad truth!
