A professor of history turned to Twitter over the weekend to call for the death of National Rifle Association (NRA) CEO Wayne LaPierre, branding the gun rights group he heads as a terrorist organization.
“[I] want Wayne LaPierre’s head on a stick,” Erik Loomis, a professor at the University of Rhode Island (URI), tweeted.

Within hours of the tragedy of unspeakable evil, these people were out in the media, social and traditional, dancing in the blood of the victims to make their points that the rest of us should submit to further circumscription of our God-given, inalienable traditional rights to liberty and property.
Let me guess, was this idiot a “Professor of Underwater Basket weaving, or was he a “Professor of Meaningless Dirtballs?”
And which “Marshmallow Department” had low enough standards to actually accept this snarky sub-achiever?
This isn’t a 2nd Amendment issue. This professor is inciting violence and promoting the murder of another person.
Violent individuals should be incarcerated until such time that full evaluations are made of their psychological profiles and mental health. In other words, what separates this professor from the likes of Adam Lanza or any other dangerous person? The answer is pretty obvious...this professor is as dangerous as Lanza.
This is the real challenge in our country. The debate should center around allowing mentally ill people, who pose a danger to the general population, to openly walk amongst us.
