When young males walk around shopping malls with ten thousand dollars worth of tattoos and the bottom edge of their hip pockets striking the inside of the knee and their underwear exposed and an attitude of “Ain’t I the coolest dude around” it is obvious that we do indeed have an epidemic of mental illness. I won’t even start on what the girls look like but it is enough to make me want to move back into the wilderness.
I went to a movie theater this weekend for the first time in 2 years, so I wasn’t as desensitized as the average movie-goer.
The previews and ads showed the darkness of our culture to the point that I felt violated and assaulted.
