Really?

1. Hollywood saturates the movies and TV with gun violence day in and day out.

2. The ultra violent video games teach kids “quick kill” and desensitize them to killing people in the same way the military does to recruits.

3. We saturate the young skulls full of mush with music that praises murder and all forms of violence.

4. We murder over 1 million unborn kids a year so women can exercise their right to “choose”.

5. We shutdown mental health facilities and turn people with serious mental problems onto the street.

6. We write laws that make it impossible for these people to get the mental health treatment (and medications) they need.

7. The public schools continue their war on boys and turn them into zombies with ADD/ADHD drugs that have psychotic side effects.

8. We have Zero Tolerance for any kind of “gun” — fake, mimed, or drawn — in schools.

9. We wonder why we have school massacres in Gun Free Zones?

What could possibly happen — don't the crazies know there are laws forbidding murder?

...agree with your general point, but I don’t see it as particularly masturbatory...orgasmic is more like it...as the sensual impact is what’s being desired, either in copulation or onanism, that’s what gratuitous violence like Pulp Fiction equates to, in terms of sexual allegory...

...Pulp Fiction is the only Tarantino movie I’ve seen, and it swore me off his future or previous endeavors...what a ridiculous waste of film...

Well, ideally, in a self-governing society, grown adults will refrain from indulging in prurient imagery, knowing that by providing a market for it, they are assisting in getting it to the kinds of weak or damaged minds to whom it can do harm.

Perhaps your memory doesn't extend very far.

Anytime I hear the song “stuck in the middle with you” I get flashbacks to the terrible scene in “Reservoir Dogs”.

Yeppers. And why do advertisers spend millions on TV commercials?

Michael Savage has a great picture of himself with his school rifle class. There must be many pictures like this throughout America, if anyone has a picture like this it would be a good idea to post it on youtube or social network. This would open the eyes of many clueless Americans. It might even make them wonder why kids didn’t shoot up their classmates with their guns back then. This might nudge the clueless ones to ponder what has happened to our country between the fifties and today. To many people like to poke fun at *old school* American culture. They have been carefully trained to think that everyone was so clueless back in the Ozzie and Harriet days. Well in the Ozzie and Harriet days, young kids could bring guns to school without any tragedies happening.

What has changed in fifty years? The values.
