The Politicians and the Bureaucrats with their hangers-on in the Media and far left are just going to keep ramping up the pressure until someone else breaks.

THEN they will have all the “reasons” to do what they’ve been wanting to do for decades. Disarm us all and turn us into serfs and targets.

As a Public School inmate, I did frequently think about the analogue of school as jail (and I liked to go get some learnin’ most days).

“Barry should think about that. “

Barry’s gang has got that figured out. They can accomplish what they want without a real fight. Slow, steady, toe in the water, chipping away at what built this country. They know that if anyone is going to shove first, it’ll be us. They don’t need to. They just need to offer the easy, lazy way out.

Chesty Puller had the best line about being surrounded like this.

The title is not a direct quote from Reid. What the article seems to illustrate is the many proposals from Democrats vis-à-vis gun control and Reid saying that “every option should be on the table” in the face of all those. This is what Reid said, expanded:
As President Obama said last night, no one law can erase evil. No policy can prevent a determined madman from committing a senseless act of violence, but we need to accept the reality that we are not doing enough to protect our citizens. In the coming days and weeks, we will engage in a meaningful conversation and thoughtful debate about how to change laws and culture that allow violence to grow. We have no greater responsibility than keeping our most vulnerable and most precious resource—our children—safe. And every idea should be on the table as we discuss how best to do just that.
As to those “ideas”, Newsmax points out people such as Mark Warner.
I think most of us realize that there are ways to get to rational gun control. … There are ways to grapple with the obvious challenges of mental illness.
Newsmax also mentions WV Democrat Joe Manchin, whom CNN calls a “conserative Democrat”(!), in the context of involving the NRA in a discussion on the Newtown massacre issue.
Who would have ever thought, in America, or anywhere in the world, that children would be slaughtered? You know, that—it’s changed me. And I mean a total change. … It’s time to move beyond rhetoric. We need to sit down and have a common sense discussion and move in a reasonable way. … I've been a longtime supporter of Second Amendment rights. I believe every American has Second Amendment rights. The ability to hunt is part of our culture. I have an NRA rating of an “A,” but enough is enough. …
Sounds to me like he means “enough of wearing the mask” . . .

He did say “every idea should be on the table”, so that one needs to be shouted back up.

Used to be only wizards and witch doctors spoke of stuff like “penumbras”. The just judges have been taken from us all right, just as Isaiah 3:2 said.

Reid’s proposal is a non-starter.

States need to name all federal bureaucrats in their states persona non grata and start a campaign to ostracize them. No food, no water, no clothing, no energy and no shelter. Let these 400-pound fascist criminals hire 30 IQ SEIU slobs to carve out forts in the national forests and monuments.

I wonder why there’s all this talk about who does or does not support the 2nd Amendment. It doesn’t matter. The Supreme Court has ruled on the left’s attempt to twist the meaning of the language: the right to bear arms will not be infringed. End of Story.

The metrosexuals will pass their legislation and then it won’t pass Constitutional muster. The law is fairly clear. Clear enough that I’m not worried, despite the fact that I went out and bought another gun yesterday.

And in any case, I’ll not be giving up my guns to agents of the government.

That most definitely should be part of it, this guy was nuttier than a Granola bar and should NEVER been able to walk the streets without a leash.

But hey, pump him full of meds then out the door... some of those drugs are DANGEROUS!! DANGEROUS!! DANGEROUS!! and if the person abruptly just stops taking them, they can go totally off their rocker. People need to be weaned off of them over time.

The title is not a direct quote from Reid.

The implication is obvious. We already have rational gun control. What we don't have is adequate, effective mental health, diagnosis, facilities and treatment.

Very true, and we are not going to get any such thing out of a government takeover of healthcare either—but they will certainly push such as the answer.

I wonder who they think they will send to get our guns.

Most military and police are pro gun or not wanting to get shot by their own countrymen.

Barry should think about that.

Barry doesn't have to worry about it. He's already passed his agenda.

But you can bet that Senate Democrats are sitting around with their poll aggregate whiz kids, crunching the numbers and asking themselves if an AWB will cost them their majority as it did in '94?

The sad truth is that outside of the white male demographic, there is no great love in America for assault rifles and high-cap magazines and unfortunately, demographic changes have not been in our favor. This isn't the same country as it was in '94. Will an AWB cost the Dems the Senate? I don't know. What I do know is that at the very least it will cost them some seats. So Dem Senators need to ask themselves which among them will be the sacrificial lambs, voting 'yes' for Dianne Feinstein's assault weapons ban knowing that it will cost them (and not Feinstein) their political careers?

Yes! We need to do something about a culture that allows bacteria like Harry Reid to thrive!

Didn’t the NRA endorse Reid a few years ago?

I wonder if they have regrets...

It will be touchy for Levin and Stabenow in Michigan but there are rumors floating that Levin may be ready to retire.

“Harry Reid: All Options on the Table on Gun Control”

The problem is they have excerised too many options already, if they are serious about making things better the first thing the’ll do is put an end to gun free zones.
