Reading, ’Riting and Race
NY Post ^ | 12/16/2012

Is arithmetic racist? Are English and science and art?

These might seem like stupid questions, but — speaking of stupid — a federal judge says the answer is yes, they are, and slapped New York City with a judgment that could cost the school system hundreds of millions.

The case involves a 16-year-old lawsuit, a handful of unqualified teachers who tried to cast their own failures as a civil-rights violation — and the lefty lawyers who have abetted their cause.

Would-be teachers in New York must pass a state exam called the Liberal Arts and Sciences Test, or LAST, to demonstrate a basic grasp of English, math, history and science.

They have four hours to answer 80 multiple-choice questions, which feature short passages, graphs, pictures and poems — and they must also write a coherent essay.

It’s not asking much. Teachers only have to score 67 percent on the multiple-choice portion, and the questions are absurdly easy. As a former city teacher told The Post, the exam is “high-school level, so anyone with a high-school [diploma] should be able to pass it, regardless of race.”

But that hasn’t been the case. Back in the 1990s, whites passed at far higher rates than blacks and Hispanics

And when the test was first rolled out, some folks who had been teaching for years were required to take it — but failed.

They were clearly unfit for full-time teaching and were demoted to substitutes, losing salary and seniority

And the Blacks and other Minorities who pushed this suit do not realize that most sane think they are just calling themselves “we too stupid”

I swear....it was a good thing Hitler never got to these shores....because his Untermensch theories would not have been challenged by our minority communities here

My first 9 years of education were being taught by nuns in Catholic School. They put the fear of being left back in you for just one subject. Plus, they didn’t take children that acted up. Parents would be called in. If that didn’t help, the child would be transferred out. With the protection laws in public schools, the kids get away with murder with no repercussions and they interupt the learning process for the others.
I feel bad for the kids that want to learn and are being hindered by the troublemakers.

Kimba Wood (the judge in this case)

Some teachers are way too ignorant to be teachers, and some judges are way too ignorant to be judges.

But that's just the way it is in "racist" America these days.

This actually began happening in 1964 right after the Civil Rights Act was passed.

Blacks sued by the thousands and won and the tests were so dumbed down that anyone could pass...that's why the schools are worthless today.
It now even allowed worthless White people who had previously failed to enter the teaching profession to pass and become teachers...everything was dumbed down for everyone.

50 years of lazy dumbshits teaching our kids has gotten us here.

They're now helping and encouraging the kids to cheat so that they can keep their jobs and mask their incomptence as education administrators, principals and teachers.

On a related note, I recall reading that an incompetent teacher was asked to read a simple document before a jury and could not do so; the teacher did not have the literacy skills required to read 4th grade text. After several stumbling attempts, the teacher said “Alright, I am not saying I can read, but I am saying I didn’t do no more harm than anybody else” She was, compared with her peers, ‘normal’.

Our public school system was never intended to educate blacks. Darwin considered them one of the non-evolving races. In Huxley’s utopia, they’d probably be Deltas or something - “no education required”.

(Similarly, abortion is the Darwinist eugenicist’s version of the “Malthusian Belt” for blacks.)

So yes, our public school system is racist - every bit as racist as Darwinism and all that springs from it.

Judging from the last Presidential race only 5% of blacks have intelligence. The rest voted for Obama.

Just think, not only do these people get to teach our children to not think or be able to add and subtract, but these teachers get to vote. Wonder who reads the ballot to them?

The communist zombies are rising out of the ashes of a dark past.

It took seventeen years for these racists to git their social justice and get a judge to spend a State’s money from the bench...in the name of diversity racism and personal failure hidden behind victimhood.

Too bad conservatives don’t stay focused on anything in the courts for seventeen years like this. But then, I guess we would be like the left - obsessed lunatics.
