The Dick’s sporting goods store in my area sucks-——I shopped there once—will never go there again.
And it is unclear how long I will suspend my buying from Dick’s.
I never buy anything from them anyways so I don’t care what those yuppies do.
I will never set foot in another Dick’s ‘Sporting Goods’ store from this point on.
I’m cutting up my Dick’s reward card as soon as I’m finished this post and will never shop there again.
How are they getting rid of them? If throwing away, I’d like to know where. If simply selling at their price to another gun dealer, they are simply still on the market. If having a fire sale, I’d like to add another two or three to my collection of AR’s! Anyway, I’ve spent a lot of money at Dick’s. No more!

What they are doing is ticking off over half of their potential clientele. Then the second thing to think about is “WHO” really does shop there. Is it yuppies who stay home or is it people who actively enjoy the great outdoors?
Only they know for sure, but if they keep this up then they are seriously looking going bankrupt in the fairly near future.
The left is trying to employ the same tactic used to pass Obamacare. They are rolling up businesses, retirement funds, holding companies and politicians to build up an avalanche of pressure to rush something through before it can be well thought out. The NRA, GOA and constitutional politicians need to get out front now, but there is mostly silence. The battlefield is being controlled by the anti-freedom forces and Obama is moving to further his grip on tyrannical rule. Where are the calls for the end of gun free victim zones, the calls for the firearms training and certification of teachers and other staff? Where are those with courage to fight the emotional manipulation of the masses?
It may be “sensitive” on their part, but stupid from a business perspective.
The types of persons that would “ban” classes of firearms wouldn’t be shopping there anyway. The group that would, will stop shopping there....as posts here indicate.
Political correctness will destroy this chain...a very bad move.

PS Places like Dick’s depend on clothing sales for a significant part of their income flow, so they are not really committed gun salesmen.
