And that is the time (blowback) when the more devious on the Left strike a conciliatory tone, saying in effect:
"Now, now, I know we have been agitating one group against the other for decades, in order to enact laws which enrich ourselves at the expense of those we demonize and those dumb enough to follow our rhetoric. But now that it looks like a large number of you are about to march and hang me from a lamp post and hold me accountable for my actions, can't we all just get along?"

Or said devious types get so frightened they decide to throw a match (think Assad in Syria).

Or, the sane Leftists will throw the match into the gasoline because they think they can win the showdown.

All bets are then moot because the Left has now declared war on the American people that they don’t like and don’t agree with them. Certain Leftists are longing for such a bloodbath because they think the other side will just roll over and let them have their will. This is a major mistake resulting in major numbers of body bags for Americans.
