First The Hurt Locker now this movie....if I didn’t know any better I would suspect that Kathryn Bigelow would be a closeted Conservative in Hollywood, an extremely pretty closeted Conservative well at least on national security issues and foreign policy.
When you hear people saying ‘torture doesn’t work’ for getting information they simply don’t know what they are talking about. It absolutely does. It will give you good and bad information.
However, there are fields of studies such as data mining that are very good at picking out patterns. If you torture 10 people that know something you will fairly easily be able to get to the information with those patterns.
It is used as punishment and for info. And it is effective at both. People may hate the idea, but it has saved a lot of lives since 9/11.
It's so funny that the Bush administration waterboarded three guys early in its first term. It had not been used for years.
Obama reserved the same powers for himself but libtards make it sound like he changed anything.
It's also noteworthy that Obama's policy is to blow up suspected terrorists and anyone around them. There are no pieces of them left that are big enough to interrogate. But Obama's some kind of human rights icon. Would you rather have water poured in your nose or have you and your family blown to bits by a missile?
