Free men (and women) don’t ask for permission.
Problem is, today’s teachers and students in an education degree program tend to be liberal and are deeply conviced of the liberal anti-gun dogma.
Virginia Governor McDonnell proposed arming principals in Virginia schools. The comments on the article in the Washington Compost are illuminating.
Ordinarily any criticism of public school teachers sends lefties mad with rage. But now all they can talk about is how those stupid teachers would carelessly leave their guns lying around resulting in chaos.
Do lefties have even the slightest consistency in their thinking? Or is consistency one of those “patriarchal tools of oppression”?
Let your mind drift to the inner city schools of LA. Teachers would be killing the kids and kids killing teachers.
Culling each other, so to speak...maybe a good idea.
I read that the first 911 call was received from Sandy Hook about 9:30AM. It took nearly 20 minutes for first responders to arrive.
As long as they're indoctrinating the children into their culture of death, the least they could do is keep them alive long enough to finish the brainwashing. That way, at least the kids have a small chance of living a normal life.
OR, the country could accept school choice, so parents can put their kids into safer and better schools - away from the union influences and it's agenda.
There are tons of web resources - I don’t see any reason to send kids to school on a daily basis.
The teacher’s union would throw a hissy fit, but you could rotate students in for “specials” (art, athletics, whatever would be cheaper done in bulk or need group work)
You could lay off teachers in droves, as fewer would be needed. Taxes would decline (well, maybe not, but theoretically).
Our county had a home school support group. Once a week, all the families got together in a church. Parents volunteered to teach 1/2 to 1 hour classes. We had art teachers, music teachers, parents taught reading and math, etc. Everything a parent couldn't do or needed help doing was done there.
Eventually, the classes got so big, it had to split into two groups. It was a huge success. Parents appreciated the support they got from other parents.
As far as I know, they're still doing it. (My kids have already graduated college.)
Excellent. All you needed was a cookie exchange to make it ideal.
I have no problem with this.
It's got my vote or voice of approval! LOL!
Teachers in Israel are armed.
