High-end luxury retailers are responding. Brands such as Aston Martin are expanding their operations into the area — betting, for instance, that there will be plenty of customers who can afford the $280,000 sports car James Bond drives in the movies. Nearby in Tysons, a Saint Laurent store and the high-end electric car maker Tesla are also set to open their doors.

It's Good To Be The Imperial Capital Under Emperor Barack. Nice exhibit on why Barack crushed Romney in the NoVa suburbs of DC.

I look forward to the day DC and environs are as prosperous as another rat dominated metro area, Detroit.

DC is not Detroit. It is Rome, @ 180 AD.

We have gone past the point now where any solution that gives greater prosperity and freedom to Americans in “fly-over country” will, by default, include some destruction and loss of power and prosperity in “the center” - Washington DC.

That will be our nation’s paradox in the coming years.

The entire DC metro area is a giant economic leech sucking the lifeblood from what is left of America’s free market economy.

But liberals are doing their best to kill any industry or endeavor that actually produces something of value or that creates jobs and wealth.

My dad was a Navy officer lifer and DC was his last assignment before retirement. So I spent a few years there, through high school.

Everyone sucks off the government there, or once removed. They do best when the rest of the Nation is economically suffering in a recession because politicans play the part of a child molestor perv, Uncle Sam.
