Gregoire noted that the countrys top oil companies have made billions of dollars in profits this year, so I expect them to do this without passing this on to consumers.Gregoire is in leftist liberal lala land.

there is way too much money in education. i vote against everything trhat gives any money to education. education is like the feral government; if they were private companies they would be out of business for gross incompetence.

Isn’t WA’s gas tax already the highest in the US? Liberals never have enough money from/control over us. They are never satisfied. They are despots.

School systems are a bottomless pit. Give every dime of taxes collected and they will still ask for more.

That was what the original concept of the lottery was for. Now all lottery ticket prices go into the general fund. New lie.

WA is ranked 9th in tax and other fees but 2nd in gas tax alone as of Jan. 2012. I guess Gregoire is going for number 1 overall.

Just start taking money out of people’s bank accounts, Christine. If they have money in the bank it means they have more than they need. Just take it. You know you want to.

Gregoire is in leftist liberal lala land. Rumored here in WA as destined for a spot in Obuma's next cabinet.
Once again confirming: Deadwood floats.

School systems are a bottomless pit. Give every dime of taxes collected and they will still ask for more. And the results will be even worse.

That’s the basic rule my wife and I live by...any ballot item that provides for “education” gets an automatic “NO”!!
There is never enough to feed this insatiable beast. And each new generation of sucker taxpayers agrees that we need new taxes “for the children.”
More money always equals poorer performance. Why the Hell reward crappy performance? Just look at the Detroit numbers that came out last week.

Isn’t the LIB rant “for the children” a tad tiresome?

The taxes/permits from the timber industry was/is for education. Shutting down vast areas to save the Spotted Owl, streams, hillsides, etc. and that industry has declined a HUGE amount.

“For the children” became hackneyed and trite 20 years ago. It’s WAY beyond retirement age. But its like sex...each new generation thinks they invented it.
