Whoops on the opsec slip, or whoops the F-35B won’t have achieved combat readiness by 2017?
The F-35 costs a ton of money but so does the catapult system on a carrier.
From what I have seen this plane doesn’t need a catapult or trapping system.
That would mean a lot less men needed to crew the carrier and a lot less cost to build one to hold the F-35.\
Just a thought, I am sure others know more about it than I.
