You might think this is a good deal that the Federal Government has access to your account, but the whole motive behind this is to control your bank account. Pretty soon they will be debiting that bank account for income taxes.
Plus there is the danger of hackers.
I never endorsed it nor decried it. Just stating what my father (who is on SS) got told. He hates it. He wants to go to the bank each month but was told that will no longer be an option.
