If Adam Lanza was indeed dabbling with Satan, the outcome is not surprising. Satan hates mankind. He has hated mankind ever since God created man in His own image, and set man to have dominion over His Creation. Satan, as the 'anointed cherub', and beautiful angel, could not stand for these 'usurpers' (mankind) to have dominion even over him. Thus Satan deceived our first parents in the Garden, bringing in death, disease, and destruction; and since our parents obeyed Satan rather than to the LORD God, Satan has been the prince of this world. Satan is the father of lies, and a murderer from the beginning. If Adam (unfortunate first name in this case) Lanza sought to dabble with this being, I'm sure Satan was more than happy to use him as a bloody tool to bring in death and heartbreak.
Only through Christ can we break the chains.

Good post. It always amazes me how many people deny that satan is a force in this world. Christ gained the victory for us over the devil, but each of us must declare our allegiance to Jesus and absolutely divorce satan.
