Sales soar for kid-themed body armor backpacks

sales of the backpacks designed to protect kids during a school shooting, have “gone through the roof.”

Derek Williams, president of Amendment II, the Utah-based company that makes the packs along with lightweight body armor for military and police use, told the magazine, "I can't go into exact sales numbers, but basically we tripled our sales volume of backpacks that we typically do in a month—in one week."

Only problem is many schools don't allow backpacks these days. If they are allowed, usually students are made to immediately store them in lockers until the end of the day.

And when a madman is putting between four and eleven rounds into each child...

A lightweight body armor backpack is useless.

But hey... If it makes a parent feel safer as they send little Billy off to indoctrination camp... er, ah, I mean elementary school, then fine.

Nope, they are designed to stop a medium power pistol round. A rifle round will zip right through them,

Is that with or without the books in it?

I’m not sure how it is nowadays, but when I was in school it seemed I was carrying a third of my body weight in textbooks every day.

As an aside, my former Nazi pig congressman, Bart Stupak, introduced legislation to ban Americans from buying border armor.
