The Romney campaign could and should have made an issue of Obama’s energy policy as a pocket book issue. They did bring up the socialist master plan once but then dropped it.
But just like the buried fees and taxes in Obamacare comming up in 2013-14 as well as the increased role of staffing the bureacracy left that go.
If they made those taxes and fees an issue during the campaign Obama could never get away with lying about it as he is doing now. The same thing with the EPA.
Obama: wasting yet more of the taxpayers’ hard earned money is going to be one of my top priorities again this time around
