12/20 - The forecast for Southern Lake Michigan Thursday night calls for northwest storm force winds to 60 kt with occasional hurricane force gusts to 65 kt possible overnight. Snow and slight chance of thunderstorms in the evening then snow overnight. Waves 12 to 16 ft. occasionally to 20 ft building to 25 to 30 ft occasionally to 40 ft.
!!!!! AFAIK there is only one freighter still underway on Lake Michgan, the John C Munson bound for Marquette.

Yes...ratz! I don’t mind a best of however I had to turn this on off, at least for awhile. It’s not pleasant having to relive that again! Something or someone isn’t clicking at WPGB. Jim makes some good points about things to look foward to over the next four years but it’s still depressing.
All the stuff Jim is talking about...the stuff people didn’t know they were voting for...higher taxes, fines for not buying healthcare, carbon tax, healthcare rationing, higher utility costs....will all be blamed on republicans, conservatives, tea party.
That’s the game the ratz play. They do it and blame someone else.
Do you know what kind of snowfall we’re supposed to get here? I heard 1-2 inches last evening, but this morning they were saying 2-4.
So far they really don’t know. The last I heard was up to 2 inches but that was mostly on the ridges and not in the city. Also the ground is relatively warm so it may not stay.

Not sure what’s going on with Jim. It does sound like he’s getting ready to retire. He is up there. Meanwhile Rose has been doing more and national shows too. WPGB programing is slipping as well. They seem to be aiming to a younger audience.
Other then Glen Meakems show and PGH tech it sucks on the weekend.
