As frenzied doomsayers around the world prepare for the apocalypse on December, 21, Russian President Vladimir Putin put his trust in science, saying at a yearly Q&A that the earth wont end for another 4.5 billion years, when the sun goes out.
It will all end in 4.5 billion years, the reaction will stop and the Sun will turn into a White Dwarf
I dont believe the world will end this year, President Putin said during the press conference.

More science than hussein knows, however uncertain.
So Putin has a better guess when the world will end...where’s the fun in that? :-)
Putin wins this one...
I suspect an asteroid or comet will “get us” well before the 4.7 billion year mark.
I’m glad it is “billions” and not “millions”.
I might be more concerned if it was “millions”.
I am sorry to inform you that it really is millions (400 million) not billions. The Sun is very slowly getting hotter, and IIRC it is estimated that in 400 million years the Sun will be hot enough to boil the oceans ego end of life (most anyway) on Earth. Also the Sun goes red giant before going white dwarf, some think the red giant phase will engulf the earth others think the Earth might survive as a burned out rock.
Putin was the head of the KGB when the Soviet Union fell. He’s still into playing on fears and planting suspicions within the US public in order to weaken our society.
He has a lot of help from the Homeland inSecurity supporters and police state coporate welfare suckers, too. Fear is an industry now.
If there is the hope of destabilizing American society and people, Putin is right in there, via Russian TV. It is amazing to watch.
But the world won't end with a simple asteroid or comet strike. It might very well wipe out most of mankind but some will survive the bottleneck and live to repopulate the planet.
