A woman that we knew killed her baby because she thought that it was autistic. Smothered it and when it didn't die the first time, smothered it more while it whimpered.

May she rot in Hell.

It's long; but this is one of the best articles about autism I have read in a long time. And altho it was written some years ago, it's still up at the top of google:
