“Superintendent Hank Grishman of the Jericho, N.Y., schools on Long Island says he is outraged by the idea. He says putting more guns in schools won’t make children safer, and could even put them in the line of more gunfire.”
Freaking a-hole. The only thing that wouldnt outrage him is to punish hundreds of millions of gun owners for the action of a lunatic. Better to lock up the lunatics and leave the rest of us alone.
If I were a kid, I’d rather be in “the line of more gunfire” if the gunfire is coming from someone trying to kill the lunatic who is trying to murder me...rather than just be taking bullets from the lunatic. This “superintendent” is insane.
There is a guard with a gun in every public building.
