The Interior (middle of Alaska) is always MUCH colder.
It's -8 and still dropping at my house right now.

It’s a bit cold. At these temps, plastic, metal, etc become brittle.
The cushions in the seats of my truck freeze and there is no cushion.
(the foam does not give) The tires on the truck freeze flat spots in them.
So, I get off work tonight, and I am riding high up in the truck with my tires out of round. It takes a few minutes of driving to get everything back to normal.
We also had thick ice fog today. Nasty stuff.
