NBC Fawns Over 'White House Christmas,' But Ignores Cost of Obama Vacation to Taxpayers

Missing from NBC's rosy Wednesday interview of Michelle Obama is her family vacation's cost to taxpayers. Reports are that the taxpayer bill for the Hawaii vacation will top $4 million.
"Come Christmas the First Family, Bo included, will head some 5,000 miles away from 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue," Today contributing correspondent Jenna Bush Hager said during NBC's "A White House Christmas" segment. "After an exciting but exhausting election season, the Obamas are happy to take this time to be together and enjoy the simple pleasures of family."
Hager asked the First Lady about the family's "talent show" and the Christmas meal, but made no mention of the Hawaii trip's cost to taxpayers.
The Hawaii Reporter estimated the cost of a 20 day round-trip vacation to be over $4 million. Travel alone would be over $3.6 million, with additional costs for security.
"While the President and his friends pay for their own rental homes, taxpayers pick up the cost of security and waterfront housing for the Secret Service, Navy Seals and Coast Guard as well as staff accommodations at a plush beachfront Waikiki hotel," the Reporter added.

And that’s the point — if the media cheerleaders would instead publicize and challenge these lavish vacations as the waste of taxpayer money they are, the Zeroes would take fewer of them.

I would guess that most of the agents of the Secret Service who work with Obama live in the Washington DC area.
Obama’s vacations take them aay from their families at Christmas. Reagan and Bush went to Camp david so these men could be with their families at Christmas., but Obama doesn’t give a flying sh*t anout these men.
Next: It does cost us 4 million dollars for him to be there as the cost of the flight the cargo planes , the helicopters, and perdiem expenses of every agent in their hotel rooms.
Next: He has the balls to fly to Hawaii when people in new York dont even have homes to go to after the storm.

The crews of Air Force One and the other forces flown down to Hawaii also miss out on Christmas at home.
This reminds me of the behavior I’ve seen exhibited by some customers in fast-food restaurants. A certain segment of the population feels compelled to treat the people behind the counter like dirt.
I tried to watch a Christmas program the other night entitled something like ‘Past Christmases at the White House.’.
You’d think ‘past’ meant ‘past’, but no- there was old big a$$, America/white hating Mooshelle spouting off on something every five minutes.
I despise her so that I had to look away when she was on.

After Bill Clinton soiled our White House and especially regarding the present socialist occupants of the White House I can no longer watch any such programs or documentaries about the White House or its history whatsoever.

Second Chicago is as cold and nasty as Washington.
Third he likes to keep the Secret Service Agents away from their famlies at Christmas.
Fourth It’s FREE.
Fifth, last time he left late so as not to travel with the Wookie.
This time he will leave early so as not to have to travel with the Wookie.
