You don’t need to be a member of congress to be speaker. So, Alan West it is. Perfect, since he was stabbed in the back by the RINOs.
You're right. They'll find an old rumor that a new Speaker used to beat his dog or misspelled a word in his past, the media will pile on and that will be the end of him.
Meanwhile conservatives will drop him and be onto their next quest for a White Knight.
Bonus points for him not being in the next House... Boehner has nothing to threaten him with.
I’d like to contact the members who are talking about the change. But, the article was more conjecture than specifics.
The speaker does not have to be a member of the house. Allen West would be a great choice because he’s a solid constitutionalist and would be fre4e from political entanglements. He’s also the only one with courage to stand up to Obama and laugh in the media’s face when they try to play the race card.
This will only work if the dems vote as predicted. I wouldn’t put it past them to vote for Boehner once they figure out the game.
