I don’t know what people expect him to do. First we got a republican congress which dosen’t mean anything if we don’t give him a republican senate and ot president. Obama and reid will never go with a republican plan or work with us on getting the economy and jobs. They spent four years saying that the GOP would not compromise and come up with a plan. The GOP came up with several plans bur the dems blocked them all. I don¡t heasr anyone complñaining about Reid, Obama and Polosi. I don’t give a damn who we put in their they won’t get anything done either.
Given the split in Congress; there is little that can get done. I don’t want the GOP compromising just to “get things done.” I would rather that nothing be done in that case.
If you are going to make a mistake, err on the side of caution. Adding badly written, hastily adopted laws (like Obamacare) is far worse than doing nothing at all. IMHO.
It amazes me that Democrats can play havoc when Republicans are in charge but the Republicans can’t return the favor:o(
You're right. They'll find an old rumor that a new Speaker used to beat his dog or misspelled a word in his past, the media will pile on and that will be the end of him.
Meanwhile conservatives will drop him and be onto their next quest for a White Knight.
