I’m not sure regarding the return of the Roman Republic. We have a republic now, such as it is. However if we might discuss the calling forth of a Lucius Quinctius Cincinnatus-like personage from the ‘heartland’ I might be receptive of the idea. I find swearing loyalty and striking the breastplate in salute to the ‘Nero’ we have unspeakable, repugnant and beyond my ability. Cinncinatus? SPQR
Well, I meant the ideal. Power and justice and so on. Not Christian or Judaism for sure, but was strong and powerful for a long time. A great turning point in early history.
