The mind-numbing horror of the Sandy Hook Elementary School massacre in Newtown, Connecticut has the evolutionary-minded progressive liberal chattering class discussing whether or not this horrific evil was caused by psychosis or another type of mental illness. While most of them agree that one of the primary causes of this evil is guns, not one of them will consider if whether the massacre was the willful action of an evil-minded individual.
At stake here are three fundamental issues. First is evil. Why does it exist and what can be done about it? Second is the human condition, is it fallen or essentially good? Third is the moral agency of man. Is man able to choose not to hate, kill, lie, deceive, cheat, steal, rape, seduce and pervert children or is he a psychochemical machine or evolved monkey helpless to resist instinct and stimuli?
Merely to answer this question is to demonstrate moral agency (free will). The truth is that man can in fact choose to lie or not lie, and the genocidal murderer Joseph Stalin amply demonstrated his own free will when he not only ordered the liquidation of millions of people but pointed out that whoever controls the mind of man can be the engineer of his soul, in other words, play at being God.
America's founding generation understood and fully accepted that man is fallen and is therefore a combination of strengths and weaknesses, good and evil. Each and every man is both kindly Dr. Jekyll and evil-minded Mr. Hyde, thus within each man exists the very real possibility of evil. The way to restrain man's dark side is through morality — Biblical morality to be specific — self-discipline, personal accountability, and dilution of power so as to prevent it from accumulating in the hands of one or a relatively small number of fallen individuals.
Because America's Progressive Liberals reject the living, supernatural God and the Fall and choose instead to embrace evolution and Enlightenment concepts, they see no evil within themselves. No matter how obscene their language and actions, they are essentially good. Their lies for example, are 'caused' by hateful, bigoted authoritarians who prevent them from telling their own version of 'truth' and after Adam Lanza,

In his commentary, "Guns,Guns,Guns" Daniel Greenfield points out that if you reject the Genesis account and instead embrace evolutionary thinking, then evil is a chicken and egg question and man is its' helpless victim:

If people are just grown-up animals, more articulate versions of the creatures who eat each other's young, and sometimes their own young, there is as much use in wondering about the nature of evil as there is in trying to understand why a killer whale kills.(sultanknish.blogspot)
Like their ancient pagan counterparts, neo-pagan Liberals believe that evil exists external to man, the helpless victim of forces beyond his control. Evil is in everything from forces and laws of nature (which may or may not be scientific or deified), DNA, and in the grey matter of all psychochemical machines (i.e., NRA membership) contaminated by evil thought systems. In this light hate crime laws, speech control efforts, gun control laws and zero tolerance policies are frantic, futile, superstitious attempts to control outbreaks of evil. Daniel Greenfield comments:
"After every shooting there are more zero tolerance policies in schools that crack down on everything from eight-year olds making POW POW gestures with their fingers to honor students bringing Tylenol and pocket knives to school. And then another shooting happens and then another one and they wouldn't happen if we just had more zero tolerance policies for everyone and everything.
But evil just can't be controlled. Not with the sort of zero tolerance policies that confuse object with subject, which ban pocket knives and finger shootings to prevent real shootings. That brand of control isn't authority, it's authority in panic mode believing that if it imposes total zero tolerance control then there will be no more school shootings. And every time the dumb paradigm is blown to bits with another shotgun, then the rush is on to reinforce it with more total zero control tolerance." (ibid)
According to Progressive Liberalism, the two most evil thought systems are Biblical Christianity and faithful Judaism together with the first principles, moral law, and concepts arising therefrom: Original Sin, man's fallen condition, his habitual abuse of free will, the two-created sexes, Ten Commandments, unchanging higher Truths, sexual ethics, the traditional family, free market ideas, and unalienable (God-given) rights of individual freedom including the right of life and self-defense.
In a penetrating analysis, Fyodor Dostoevsky the apocalyptic prophet of the 18th century, identified Marxist Communists and their camp-followers (i.e., Socialists, Progressive Liberals) as terrible-willed devilish Gnostic revolutionaries waging war upon the living, supernatural God, His created order of being and His Revelation to man.
Many years later Alexander Solzhenitsyn concurred with Dostoevsky's conclusions. Marxist Communists (and America's Progressive Libs) are neo-pagan Manichaean Gnostics. Seeing no evil within themselves, when they looked upon Russia they saw evil everywhere and like avenging furies fell upon and destroyed every source of it (i.e., churches, priests, property, family) as well as 60,000,000 men, women, and children contaminated by evil thought systems.
Their wills not being submitted to God, then like Cain, even if they finally confessed to having murdered their brethren they would not repent of it. Lenin for instance, admitted that the blood of millions of victims dripped from his hands but he did not repent. Stalin was even more defiant. Just before the death of his body he sat up on his deathbed and shook his fist in the face of God.
Ideas have consequences. They are more powerful than bombs. We can neither understand nor effectively counter Progressive Liberal ideas and the superstition and attendant madness ensuing therefrom until we understand what they believe about evil, the human condition and moral agency.

This is THE entire problem. Too many people in this nation do not know what sin is. The liberal left only believes evil (sin) is what they say it is at the moment to suit their purposes.

Isaiah 5:20 Woe to those who call evil good, and good evil; Who substitute darkness for light and light for darkness; Who substitute bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!

The whole public school meme is oxymoronic. It practices disloyalty. Then the Civil Rights of being friends with anything that goes out there, even the nuts, the crazies and the bullies, reduces what was meant of social harmony into a social hate fest of each other.
Liberals, these sociopaths, they want our children to be around such sociopaths at schools. They want them out of the “mental hospital stygma”, just like they wanted the gays out of the mental stygma.
Check it out, we do not want this kind of sociopath who was using his own mother’s love or emotional attachment against herself, around our kids at school, but this is what the disloyalty meme out there wants us to go with.
However, to their crazed disbelief, the sociopath goes on a rampage and isolate further the school from himself. And, frankly, this is kind of welcome that this absurdity be laid bare: the liberal is still trying to figure a way to keep the sociopath around in our schools, completely disarmed, spreading his sociopathy and pain in it, without resort to arms to isolate even himself from mentaly harming others.
Liberals are bewildered that their ploy of trying to destroy conservative values is failing because one of their minion snaps off, because fail for us to keep him away, he keeps us away by killing away. Liberals are obsessed with making peace with enemies and thugs, simply because it furthers their political agenda to have this activity of cooperation with the thugs against America for now. So, as a result, they welcome openly being raped and appeasing.
There is something incredibly shockingly sick and still somewhat hidden about liberals. However, as time goes by, as they are running out of ammo, more and more of this is going to come out the closet.
They cannot go back on Obama, sooner or later, and probably sooner than we think, Obama is going to have to give them the marching orders they have been waiting for, which is total genocide. Using social instruments like schools or social media, the Civil Rights for anything goes is going to be used so that enemy neighbors will be next to us, will know us, and the marching orders to kill the patriot or conservative will be given and implemented very effectively.
ANd because things like social media exist, it has never been more important to keep armed. My house has become my castle, even in the face of a government cop trying to confiscate my firearms. It’s a no go from here on out. They can ban all they want, any parent out there is “entitled” to become the hired guards of their own children, gun free zones or not.

The human condition, without Christ, is evil. All of us would like to think that we do okay on our own. We don’t, and aren’t near as “good” as we think we are at best.

I'm not at all a big Bible thumper, but it kinda makes me think of the old saying "The Devil's best trick is to make you think he doesn't exist".
Indeed, liberalism is steeped into being part of the social in order to get social benefits without having to contribute. They want “recognition” without having to recognize, they want to be given money without loyalty implied.
This is why they are pushing for this kind of evil to be around our children at schools. Sociopaths like this psycho killer is their hero or hoped for hero, he is like their Obama, but to their despair, he gave himself up before he ever went successful and national completely empowered. He was premature, and this is why these crazy liberals are furious about the weapons issue giving the “temptation”.
That God prefers to have this kind of psycho come out the closet early, draw the line, shed blood early, instead of teaching his sociopathy to the kids around following his marching orders at schools, until he grows into another “we want you to be successful” patient Obama, who then would do it comprehensively worldwide, taking advantage of a political worldwide meltdown, is what makes them seeth because that delays their plan and they won’t live to see their “Psycho-One” in their life time take power.

There seems to be a lack of documentation to support that fact. All I have seen is an anonymous statement in a tabloid.
Liberals are self isolating misfits and they donot want to see others to be saved, let alone be “super saved” by saving others, the way God saved us and became Lord of Lord as a result. Not only should we seen salvation through others, but it comes more readily through saving others, the way He saved us.
That kind of loyalty is a no no in AMerica, amongst liberals, the GOP and what not. It’s all about glorification of the pragmatism of selfishness. It’s nonsense.
Even stuff like Fox News is pumping weak stuff on the side of guns lately. They let liberal guests spout off now by themselves on the Laura Ingraham show their idiocy concerning guns (with no real wish to bring counterpoints from somewhere else, like when this guy whined against the “assault military style handgrip”, when the hand grip is for a soldier handicapped by his gear to be able to shoot, and when this was an initial physically disabled civilian - and not military - implementation). The whole thing is being set up, anti conservative, anti tea party, anti loyalty, it is ridiculous.
Oh, but this is the sociopath’s tool. He or she makes a parent or “loved one” believe they are not loved enough. Then he or she practices hate and sociopathic attacks on their care takers. The care takers do not understand why would the sociopath hang out with other satan worshiping sociopaths and “wrong crowds”. But the point is, a sociopath is a sociopath and will use one’s assuming an emotional or responsability bond against themselves. It is absurd to wish them to change and giving them to therapists, some of whom worship cults and send their own patients to cults and are paid to do that (I know of a few cases in Missouri who are mental health providers and do the paid bidding of their cults to send their patients there).
These evil people practice hate on anyone, and, so, to be surprized to see them have loyalties other than their object of destruction is completely naive. Nothing short of incarceration, exile or destruction will do with these people. It’s like the Dog Whisperer, something about fixating growling animals is wrong, and ultimately these “pets” are to be put down, but the owners still cries for them.

And, yes, to use free speech or a social media to destroy free speech or social media itself by pushing themselves in it, is all the rage these days. The gangsta mentality out there is crazy.
Good post - I like the way the essay takes a basic view to morality and the human condition to understand how evil exists to achieve the horrible acts of Lanza. I especially like the line about blaming the object rather than the subject. I’ve always held and expressed that opinion but I think I may adopt that way of saying it.
So much packed in there. Truly the fusion of all things good and holy. The VERY foundation of our human existance that God created and called VERY good ... BEFORE the Fall.
It is exactly what Stalin shook his fist at on his deathbed ... the 'face' of God. And it is what the Communists/Liberals/Progressives shake their fists at every day on every issue. Just like Stalin, their 'enemy' is God and they rage against the night of His Creation. Constantly.
Only, unlike Stalin, they don't admit who their raging shaking fists are directed at. This Godless people won't admist to who they really are. Or they know it deep within, and don't like what they see.
