I would assume that African American Studies contributes toward a degree in Community Organizing.

Chewbacca’s senior thesis: “`Princeton-Educated Blacks and the Black Community’—Gloom, Despair and Agony On Me—Deep Dark Depression, That’s All I Ever See” by Michelle LaVaughn Robinson. Praise Allah for Affirmative Action!
(After first scrolling down, as far as I could, on this FR thread to see if I made the usual jackazz out of myself ... )
Yeah, grievance-mongering: It’s a real academic growth industry. Even the muzzies have caught on to it.
I’m fairly certain that the majority of students in these programs are not student-athletes. Schools don’t have enough athletes to justify an entire department.
these bullsh!t programs were designed so that those taking them could NOT FAIL... and they FAILED THEM ANYWAY!!!
even showing up for class is simply tooo much for some of them...
Our son graduated from the UNC’s B-school a few years ago and swears that UNC will never receive a penny from him...he is a fine young Christian who thinks that the entire school is so liberal and anti=Christian that it borders on communism...

You are so right! The solution, so far as I am concerned, is to do away completely with college athletics. But oh, what would students do for entertainment some would say. Colleges and Universities should be “institutions of higher learning.” I don’t understand why they have become “the farm system” for major league sports. Let the rich bastards who own the franchises, set up their own farm system outside post secondary academics. You can see the few schools who actually play by the rules, they have the loosing teams. And I will bet you that if you examine the “academic records” of the football teams, the only “value” from going to college was to try and get a contract with a professional sports team of one kind or another. I would also doubt if any “athletes” were so highly rated academically, that they switched their major in athletics to say, medicine or law! College athletics in nothing more than another manifestation of affirmative action.

I do not share your optimistic appraisal of the situation....
Did these students learn to hate whitey? If so, they should get credit because they satisfied the only coarse requirement.
