Tornado Warning: Autauga,Elmore & Montgomery Counties. That puts me in the middle of it!

Sirens are going off, but nobodies seen any funnel clouds. This is a lot like last April (2011).

Went outside. Raining hard. Dark as pitch. How do you “see” clouds or tornados on a night like this?

I’m on 14 between Wetumpka and Tallassee on the Tallassee side. Looks like it will hit Wetumpka and then Eclectic. I might be a hair off to the South and safe.

Clear skies, moon and stars out for us right now.
The line is about 100 miles away from us now and was still seeing lightening off the East and Southeastern horizon.
The cloud tops on some of the storms was 50,000+ feet.
Be careful, it was *rocking and rolling* when it came through here.

According to our weather guys (B’ham area), no reports of injuries in Mobile thankfully. All the crappy stuff is east of us now but now we have to endure high winds all night and into tomorrow as the cold front moves in. All in all a crappy weather Christmas Day. Can’t complain too much though since we weathered it well, so far.

God bless and protect you and everyone else on the Southern coast.

I live outside Houston and we had a downpour and wind for about an hour around 4pm. Then the sun came back out.
