Al Qaeda Targets Our Schoolchildren
American Thinker ^ | September 25, 2007 | Marc Sheppard

Posted on 12/27/2012 9:36:05 AM PST by Perseverando

While Democrats prepare witless campaign slogans blaming Republicans for millions of children not protected by health insurance, al Qaeda's blatant threat to exterminate 2 million American kids remains unheeded. And it will likely continue to be, notwithstanding mounting evidence that there exists no peril on Earth our young need greater protection from today than merciless jihadist monsters.

Not lack of a national insurance plan. Not global warming. Not racial or cultural disparities. Not even the Patriot Act, any of its overplayed incursions into individual liberties, or any of the other countless silly and diaphanous liberal causes célèbres, but rather that which would abruptly and savagely end their innocent short lives.

Nearly 6 months have passed since I first challenged the inexcusable refusal by DHS and FBI authorities to publicly connect the obviously connectable dots representing an unnerving number of alarming events -- particularly in the wake of the Beslan school massacre. These include:

Videotapes confiscated in Afghanistan showing al-Qaeda terrorists training to takeover a school [newly available Video] Spokesman Suleiman Abu Gheith‘s declaration of al-Qaeda's "right" to kill 2 million American children An Iraqi national with known terrorist connections caught with a computer disk containing information detailing Department of Education crisis planning for U.S school districts. Two Saudi men - one wearing a black trench coat despite the Florida heat -- terrifying a busload of Tampa schoolchildren by boarding a school bus and remaining for the entire ride to school, all the while laughing and speaking Arabic. A March FBI/DHS bulletin noting "recent suspicious activity" by foreigners who drive school buses, are licensed to drive them, or have actually managed to purchase them right here at home. Including "members of the unnamed extremist groups" who have obtained commercial drivers licenses with school bus endorsements. Osama bin Laden's promise

Thanks. I'm very familiar with the story of the Beslan school massacre, also known as the the Russian "Rape Jihad" among other names.

Obama. Said it when campaigning in 08. Plenty of posts here and across the web on it.

And people didn’t care.

General comment, not intended for you specifically so much; however, the details should be required reading for every parent (many of whom are unaware of this event) with a child in public schools. If I had a child that age, I think I’d personally have to do whatever it took to homeschool them. They’d be safer, better educated, and not indoctrinated, among other things. Bad things can happen anywhere, but this particular scenario is a nightmare in the making.

A Islamic Community Center purchased a home that was for sale adjacent to a park site in our vacinity-Cedar Park, TX. Within a half mile...2 Elementary Schools, A High School and Jr. High School. Another old church became a mosque...right across from an Elementary School in the neighboring school district. Nope, my kids would not be going to those schools!!

Not wrong.

It was part of the campaign.also. It was brought up and people largely ignored it. But it was brought up, discussed, rehashed et all. in 08 and 12.

Fact.

Fact

It may have been brought up by him in 08, but I doubt it. He was doing his best to stay away from those "uncomfortable" problems while he passed himself off as a moderate, plus McCain wasn't going to ever bring it up.

It was not brought up by him in 12.

You may have your "facts" wrong, or I might not remember correctly. If you are right, kindly link to an FR article (or any other) showing Bambi brought it up in any of his campaigns if you remember where the reference came from.

Still pissed over being so very wrong about Mitt I see.

Lake, you have a search engine in your browser. This has been discussed to death here and everywhere else for 4 freaking YEARS. Just last week I saw another freeper quote it. It’s not like it’s some secret only I am privy to. Or that I made it up for God’s sake.

And SOLELY for the sake of argument, what difference would it make? It was said. He said it. In print or in person. It was a part of the campaign. It was on network news and the major media outlets.

What is the definition of ‘is’ here lake? How fine you wanna split a hair?
This makes you look petty and vindictive. Just stop.

The actual quote is: "I will stand with them should the political winds shift in an ugly direction." it's from: "The Audacity of Hope" [pg. 261], the full context makes it crystal clear that "them" is "Arab and Pakistani Americans"

As in muslim 5th columnists.

Unfortunately it WILL take the mass slaughter of children to get people to overcome the lib programming that Islam is OK. And W did us no favors when he called it the ROP. He did much good. But that quote set a solution to Islam’s ‘problem’ back decades and has already cost thousands of lives.

And then they'll blame it on "hard core right-wingers" instaed of terrorists and use it as "the final straw" in the war to disarm/enslave us.

Then they will TRY to blame it on...

It's looking like that nasty liberal trick has stopped working quite so well after Newtown.

I live in a suburb of Des Moines, Iowa. My husband had to take a different route home one day because of road construction and noticed that a new Mosque was being built, with onion domes and minarets and all. It is maybe a mile away from 2 of the 5 elementary schools in the district, not to mention the high school and middle school. The property abuts the bus barn property. Nice huh?

Actually this has nothing to do with being "pissed", it has to do with correcting a misunderstanding of yours to another poster about where the source of Bambi's comments were. It was more an answer to the other poster's questions about where they came from. I said it came from one of his books, you said he spoke of it during his campaigns, which he didn't. You called it a "fact" and it wasn't. The poster null and void corrected you as well, was he "pissed"?

You were corrected for your misunderstanding, and not in any kind of nasty way, you were simply corrected because you answered another poster with wrong information. That poster now has a source with the correct information, and so do you.

I remember him discussing it. It was all over the media as an issue regardless of whether either of us is mistaken. I do not believe I am. Doesn’t matter. Again it was part of the campaign. An issue regarding his election. I never said it was not in the book.

You continue to split hairs. Have a good time.

Defending a poor memory is not a good thing. Doubling down when you are caught is even worse.

Good luck with that.......

He’s certainly not standing with the Christians being persecuted in the areas of the ME that are, in his words, “inspiring”.

Lake, whatever, anyone reading this thread isn’t going to say with a straight face that his statement was not made and that it was not a campaign issue. Said in a book, said on TV, said on Mars, whatever.

I’ll triple down on it. And I maintain I remember seeing it. And I admit it was in ‘his’ book. Now if that’s mistaken, so be it. Then I never EVER want to see you post a word on FR without a bibliography of ‘proof’ to back it up.

And either forums empty out or they buy a bunch more storage space to document fully any and all discussions.

Get a freaking clue.
