Not an easy search. The bowl is now played at Sun Life Stadium in Miami Gardens, Florida, a Miami suburb. The old OB was in Miami. Still can’t figure why the hair split but the bowl logos and most news items call it South Florida.
In the early 1950s I and friends use to hunt quail where the Sun Life (Joe Robbie) Stadium sits.
Also water ski in the canal using a old Chevy to pull us. The canal was man made and had a gravel road running on the south side. The road extended to what is now Flamingo road coming from Broward Co.
