It’s political theater. Gotta build the suspense for the big payoff at the end. Just like any half-way decently written film or play.
The theater of politics is nothing new. The actors change, but the storyline stays the same.

Bonehead runs the house like Pelosi did.
They will have to pass it to find what’s in it.
In the top photo, definitely a case of laughing AT him, not with him.
They are going to have to rewrite all the government and history lessons on how bills are passed and made into law by the US government.
