Orit Zuaretz (Kadima / Livni) demands, in a letter to Besheva magazine, that the magazine refrain from awarding the Jerusalem Prize to pro-life NGO Efrat and its chairman, Dr. Eli Shussheim.
In a letter to Besheva Director David Saada, Zuaretz explains that "the organization's dubious methods of operation were exposed more than once over the last few years."
She pointed to a Channel 2 report about the death of Raz Atias, whose girlfriend was pregnant and who did not want to abort the baby, despite pressure to do so from his parents. Atias planned to commit suicide with his girlfriend and was shot to death by policemen. The Channel 2 report blamed unnamed Efrat "volunteers" for allegedly pressuring the young parents not to abort the pregnancy.
Zuaretz, who recently quit Kadima ... now Number 10 in Tzipi Livni's party, explained that "giving the Jerusalem Prize to an organization that is motivated by a missionary world view that opposes a woman's right to her body, is like granting legitimacy to the organization's invasive behavior and cooperation with its immoral methods of operation."

A woman who aborts her baby doesn't even know it, and is murdering the child in order not to know it. This is not a right to her body, but her body as a feudal fiefdom, with a lady of the manor exercising her right to destroy her sole subject, who is completely defenseless.
So the baby's father planned to kill all three (his baby; his girlfriend --- who wanted the baby--- and himself); the police, intervening, killed one (the guy); and for this, the "unnamed prolifers" who informed the police, are anti-freedom and ought to be ashamed of themselves?
Better all three were dead?
Don't people think about this even 10 seconds?
Lord have mercy.
I did for ten seconds, and thought, all three could have lived if the father had made the girl and honest woman. It’s called marriage, and getting a girl pregnant makes it the honorable thing to do. That would have been a much better response to the “pressure” not to abort the baby.
You see. We have these idiots here, too.
There is never a good reason for murdering a baby
And as for "choice," I always thought that was a pre-conception right. As my neighbor back a few years ago used to say: "Chooz before ya scrooz."

Given the magnitude of the genocide of Jewish babies and their parents and grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins during the Holocaust, it’s obscene for anyone to push abortion among Jews. Politically “correct” Jews are about the only people who adopted the Left’s call for Zero Population growth.
Good point. I knew a man who was 13 when the Nazis turned on the Soviets and invaded his home town. He escaped on a stray horse and fought among the Partisans at that tender age. An infant in its mother’s womb doesn’t even have that option.
