Benjamin Sebena was charged Thursday with the Christmas Eve shooting death of his wife, Wauwatosa Police Officer Jennifer L. Sebena.

According to a criminal complaint, Benjamin Sebena told police he had been stalking his wife for days and that, after lying in wait for her for hours, shot her early Monday as she emerged from a break at a Wauwatosa Fire Department station on Underwood Ave.

He said he shot her in the back of her head with his own handgun and then shot her several times in the face with her service revolver, according to the complaint.

Two questions: How is a non-authorized person going to get inside the school to observe procedures? And are you saying there should be no armed personnel to protect the students?

What seems to be overlooked is that most members of administration, faculty and staff of public schools are a bunch of liberals to start with.

I don’t think they want to be taught anything pertaining to gun handling — they’d rather have someone else protect their asses.

That depends upon where you live. For example, here in Alaska, I believe you would find many, if not the majority of all school district employees are gun owners and 2nd Amendment supporters. I would expect that to be true of many southern and flyover states also.

what was the motive?

We can only guess at this point.

He was a decorated Marine veteran, wounded in combat, turned Christian motivational speaker. Really didn't want to think it was him.

Nice progressive thinking .... duh ... do nothing constructive and then complain about it next time. Had the principal be carrying a 45 (the first on the scene) and let off a couple shots at the punk, I think it would have turned out differently.

“If we go through the charade and enormous expense of putting an armed guard in every school, it will only take one fairly methodical psycho to observe the security measures at a facility, get the drop on the guard, and then go on his rampage.”

Counter-surveillance should be one aspect of these armed guards training. It would expose the "psycho" before he can actually go through with his plan, and would be the safest way to actually catch them.

Police officers are said to have a higher rate of divorce and extra-marital affairs .Police and other people on night shifts are no doubt tempted and find themselves in position to give in.I know of several such. My 50 cents is the husband thought, rightly or wrongly, she was cheating on him, and chose the worst possible response.

Looking beyond your perimeter to see if anyone is watching YOU is part of the better private security training but sometimes difficult to implement when staff is limited. Then there is always the idiot who wants to know if you are “checking out hot women” should the idiot discover the officer surveying the area outside with binoculars or cameras.

I once had to deal with a supervisor who forbade his officers to take notice of anything outside the clients fence “because it is not your job” including calling the police or EMT if a car crash or anything else occurred in the adjacent street.

“Revolver” Please understand that this is in Wisconsin. I’m surprise that the “reporter” didn’t call it a Service AK-47 Full Auto Revolver with a 60 round assault clip. /s/

This douchebag is already setting up for PTSD defense, which is BS, he was an asshole before even going into combat.

I suspect Jennifer had a hard time keeping her pants zipped. The mental games cops play when they are screwing around are not pretty. If that was the case, I have a large amount of sympathy for the shooter, he just snapped… poor guy…. She played a stupid game and won a stupid prize...
