Two Arizona sheriffs have ideas on how to protect schools, and their plans are far from the same.
Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio wants to use his posse. Pinal County Sheriff Paul Babeu wants to arm willing principals.
Sheriff Arpaio said his plan is similar to the posse he started in 1993 to patrol area malls. Arpaio said his posse members have more than 100 hours of firearms training and will probably carry Glock handguns.

Sheriff Arpaio’s posse would be good.
Schools in Phoenix, because of the weather, are built so that every classroom opens to the outdoors instead of an inside hallway.
Do both, and more: Armed LEOs, school administrators, and teachers. Arm the janitors, if need be.
I like Sheriff Joe’s plan. His posse is made up of volunteers so they are ordinary citizens who have gone through training. His posse has done some really good things and they always step forward when there is trouble.
Arpaio plan is excellent....his Posse are experienced law enforcement who are volunteers
However, you can bet that liberals and Phony Con Anti Birthers will find a way to attack Arpaio and his Posse
