"I think you are going to see a lot of bills on climate change," said Senator Barbara Boxer as she took the lead in forming a climate change caucus in the Senate.
That's music to our ears, along with this: "There will be a lot of different bills on climate change. I have already spoken to three colleagues that have bills in the works."
Boxer (D-CA) says it's finally time to bring the discussion of climate change out of the shadows, and that superstorm Sandy "changed a lot of minds" on the topic.

Need one in there for information gathering.
Libloather ~:” (Title) Signs of Light? Climate Change Caucus Forms in Senate (Can they be brought up on fraud charges?)”
Probably not when speaking from the floor.
However , they may bring such an incident to the Ethics Commission ,.. where it would slowly die due to statue of limitations
“Everything about socialism is sham and affectation.” - 23.11; Ch23 Evil; Economic Harmonies; Frederic Bastiat
How can a French economist describe our current socialist-induced fiasco to a T...160+ years ago...and almost all of us never heard of him in all our education or “conservative” teachings?
Barbara Boxer left 143 signed confessions that she is a liar and a thief with congressional bank tellers....And we’re supposed to trust her on globull warming ?
The ‘rats are there for an emotional gathering.
The sun is on strike....if a decent crop of sunspots are not produced by the sun during the current 11 year cycle and into the next....
Then get prepared for another ice age ...at best lasting 400 years.
Katrina was by NO stretch of the imagination a ‘super storm’. the fact that democrats had plundered money for levee strengthening over the years guaranteed that then end result of a storm like Katrina was the mess that resulted. Katrina was a cat three hurricane at land fall.....Ray Nagen’s response was a cat five failure.
Camille was indeed a super storm and the little noreaster that was Sandy is nothing by comparison.
NONE of these storms is indicative of ‘global warming’(manmade or otherwise) they are merely weather events.
I wish someone somewhere would educate the dolts about climate, weather, and measurable change..... but then Boxer thought that MTBE would be neat to add to fuel to make it pollute less. Of course all this requirement by the EPA at congress’s direction (after action on a bill from Babs) did was pollute the ground water through out California and other states
Oh, these people are full of it, aren't they?
There are about as many people who want climate change addressed as there are who want more gun control. They are the same people, of course: journalists and politicians.
The desire to control others runs deep in the liberal mind um heart no. Well, let's say it just runs deep in liberals.
That sounds like something that an illegal alien "advocate" or someone who does too many recreational drugs would say. Personally, I think scams and hoaxes should stay in the "shadows" where they belong.
Babs, Hanging your socialist democratic hat on a natural storm being tied to AGW is about as stupid as the CLIMATE CHANGE CROWD picking CO2 as the warming catalyst. Why do you think they had to COOK THE BOOKS. Your ray of light will quickly turn dark.
It qualified as a ‘superstorm’ because it hit where many of the MSM bigwigs live, or have seaside homes. Thus it was of real importance to them, unlike the storms on the Gulf Coast, which were of importance to them only in a political sense, because they could use them to bash George W. Bush.
I do admire Lord Monckton. He speaks his mind (with truth as his weapon) in the face of great opposition

One of these days the SF area will experience a big earthquake. She will somehow try to blame it on AGW [or maybe Bush's fault].
Inside every liberal lives a totalitarian, just waiting to get out...and run your life.
