Congressional leaders spoke Friday after meeting about the fiscal cliff with President Barack Obama at the White House.

McConnell spoke immediately after Reid, saying, “I share the view of the majority leader. We had a good meeting down at the White House.
“We are engaged in discussions, the majority leader and myself and the White House, in the hopes that we can come forward as early as Sunday and have a recommendation that I can make to my conference and the majority leader [Reid] can make to his conference and so we’ll be working hard to try and see if we can get there in the next 24 hours,” he said. “And so I’m hopeful and optimistic.”

Well, at least it looks like Reid is agreeing that the Senate should now take action.

Well Boehner and Cantor will just have to let every House RINO know that voting for a Reid-Obama bill is suicide.
If they can’t do that they have to go, it’ll be the end of the Party and they know that.
“Good Meeting” - GOP code speak for we accept the terms for surrender in the name of bi-partisanship. Where do we sign?
And the ignorant GOP will go along to get along. They are such dumb asses. Sorry for the rant....and I have been working and spending my hard earned money to support the GOP but, if they cannot support me, bye, bye. This so called “fiscal cliff” is a joke. Call the President’s bluff....the pain will be short lived. If they vote to stop this “fiscal cliff”, the next “fiscal cliff” is just around the corner.
Reid will be proposing the Obama plan that Scott Brown mentioned yesterday.
McConnell will go along with it in exchange for a deal with Reid on filibuster reform.
And Boner will force it down the throats of the House since Obama and Reid/McConnell will tell him to.
McConnell is selling out over Reid’s filibuster threat. McConnell is a POS coward.
What plan is that?
As far as I know, Brown never mentioned any specifics.
Let the RINOs vote with the RATs and pass this bill.
And note the RINOs who vote for this sham.
