New Yorks Chuck Schumer (D-NY) tells NBCs Today show hes encouraged that Senate Republican Leader Mitch McConnell of Kentucky is getting actively engaged in talks to resolve the problem.

Only if GOP caves. Caving is their natural want unfortunately.
Gee, I can sleep all peacefull and warm tonight. /S
Go Schmucky! By the way here’s your canoe...see ya
Apparently no one told Chuckie that the senate has nothing to do with this fiscal cliff mess as they don’t have any Constitutional authority..
This is a battle between the House of Representatives and the Executive branch.
Bend over America. Schmucky schumer thinks you don’t even feel it any more.
A Democrat Senator in the Democrat-controlled Senate is glad a Republican Senator is doing something because his Democrat-controlled Senate colleagues especially Hairy Reed are as useful as tits on a Boar hog.
OK, got it.
Does our government truly believe that we do not know it is all theater?
Of course Chuckie is confident. I am confident McConnell, Bonehead
and Cantor will cave too.
About the “limited information voters” who elected this devil for a second term...and the fiscal mess we are in, a man who doesn’t give a crap about this nation but rather wants to destroy it, for those people who voted for this...I am sick of hearing the worry now about the fiscal confiscatory theft this will be for their children and grandkids. To hell with them..their kids are all brainwashed and think in lock step with this nightmare..I know, we have 3 daughters and their kids...so I don’t give a rats a$$ if they lose every damn dime..and they are getting not one cent from me in my trust....
The kids and grandkids I do have concern for are the ones whose parents are out in front, vocal, and risking it all to alert the nation to what is about to happen though all their cries are falling on the deaf ears of those limited information voters...Elections have consequences and I will remind our girls of this when they start to gripe...and they will also learn there is not one dime coming to them should I perish before they do.
Yeah..I am hard about this..unforgiving because they refused to even listen to anyone with a different view...
“According to new IRS data, the 1.35 million taxpayers that represent the highest-earning one percent of the Americans who filed federal income tax returns in 2010 earned 18.9% of the total gross income and paid 37.4% of all federal income taxes paid in that year. In contrast, the 128.3 million taxpayers in the bottom 95% of all U.S. taxpayers in 2010 earned 66.2% of gross income and that group paid 40.9% of all taxes paid. In other words, the top 1 percent (1.35 million) of American taxpayers paid almost as much federal income tax in 2010 ($354.8 billion) as the entire bottom 95% of American tax filers ($388.4 billion).”
“When 1% of the population pays as much in income taxes as 95%, something is seriously wrong.”

I can’t even stand to hear Harry Reid’s girly voice. It makes my blood boil. The guy is such a lying, piece of excrement. It absolutely AMAZES me that idiots keep him and others like his ilk in office.
where’s the asshole alert
Despicable ghoul
No, let us continue to fall [we went over the cliff years ago.]
Make everyone pay the cost of government - not just those making over $x. Only those who pay for government have an interest in reducing its cost.
Do NOT separate a portion of citizens to pay. Next they’ll come for you... and I think this is what 0traitor really, really, wants... for strips of voters to be peeled away bit by bit. First they came for income over $1.....
