>>>This is, declared NYU professor Jay Rosen, “the dumbest media story of 2012.” Why? Because, as CNN’s Howard Kurtz breezily put it, everybody knows David Gregory wasn’t “planning to commit any crimes.” CNN’s Howard Kurtz is off his game & dumb to boot. What's wrong w/ CNN these days, any check & balances going on there?

Unfortunately for him, Gregory was indeed planning to commit a crime: the crime of possessing a high capacity magazine in DC. And he did commit the crime.

Let’s see how he likes gun laws.

CNN journalists fancy themselves liberal elites - - laws don't apply to them or the real elites, right? In delusion they're part of the ruling class. (Well, until they're laid off - and which point they realize elites used them - and they never were real members - but that's another post...)

Until then they're superior - and if you don't believe it, check out their attitudes and 'airs'...

Journalists use to be talented working class people who were in touch with real people. Not anymore - which is why no one gives a damn about 'the news' as presented by CNN. Or about CNN - or any of the rest of the 'oh so superior (by their own standards) newsies.
