A New Haven attorney is asking permission to sue the state.

Connecticut has immunity against most lawsuits unless permission to sue is granted.

Pinsky said the student has been traumatized.

He accused the state of failing to protect students from "foreseeable harm."

Perhaps it would have been cheaper after all to hire armed security?

Re: “Business as usual”

Plus, the guy’s a tort lawyer.

That means a Hard Left socialist 90% of the time.

He’ll kick back a couple million to the gun control crazed Democrat Party if he wins.

The irony!

I can understand that the student has been traumatized, what student wouldn’t be.

That being said, how was the state at fault for failing to protect students from “foreseeable harm”. Who could ever image anyone doing something like this.

Even if he managed to get permission to sue the state, I imagine the state's response to the lawsuit would be pretty simple:

The State of Connecticut has no authority, no responsibility and no jurisdiction in matters related to security in municipal school districts.

Case closed.

Aw, ain’t lawyers cute? Why doesn’t this bottom-feeder sue the newspaper that published the names and addresses of legal gun owners?
