Kellner says the store advertised them for $799 each, a $300 dollar discount.
They got two of them, then received this letter from Dick’s on Christmas Eve, telling customers, it’s not fulfilling any more orders.

So that’s why they call them, “Dick’s”
They might as well shut down whats left of their gun department right now. Maybe they can make up the loss by selling more pup-tents to libs?
Sue them for breach of contract, did they not enter into a contractual agreement when the sale was made? I have been hearing bad things about Dick’s (no pun intended) for sometime now. Fortunately my sporting goods needs are few now a days, but I sure would not support a retailer like Dick’s for any reason. Let them survive with sales to gun haters, they won’t get my money.
Dick’s panicked and caved to whatever pressure was brought to bear. They will and should pay a price for the decision. Hopefully, it will be a heavy price and will drive customers to companies that hung tough (assuming that anyone will be able to see such rifles after Obama gives the country the bums rush.
Dick’s is messed up. I bought a pair of hunting boots on line right before hunting season. They send a pair of size 11 in a 12 box. Needless to say, when I finally got the right boots, buck season was over. Not that it stopped me from hunting, but I’m just saying.
Will continue boycotting these turds.

They have a publicly announced policy of using the "E-verify" system to make certain that they don't hire illegal aliens.
Because they are a bit more "off the map" I have better luck finding ammo there than other stores (including Wal-Mart).
Until I hear differently, I'm not aware of any political negatives associated with their company.
That was such a lame political correct decision that they did. They sure could sell them all of the times, hey. Our location looks like a mess- sections in those departments; people just bought it all up. If this makes the government have the idea that the public is expecting more gun control and possibly accepting to go along; don’t count me in that category. I am not living unprotected..environment/surroundings is dangerous as it is..just saying.
I wonder if they don’t get quality rejects there. I bought two air mattresses there, both popped or leaked within a week. Haven’t been back since. Academy’s always gotten what money I can’t afford to give them.
Big 5 is my favorite also. I can always get ammo there. They sell a box of 100 9mm Winchester rounds for $20. I buy 5 every pay day.
This was that smoking deal they had on Troy Carbines. I could not believe it at the time because I have always known Dick’s to cater only to traditional hunters (people who don’t have black rifles). It seems that I did not trust them for good reason.

I used to buy lots of my running gear there....Under Armour, Nalgene bottles, sports bras, etc. never again.
A small, privately owned running store opened up just a few extra minutes down the highway. The selection is smaller, but the staff is extremely knowledgable and it’s a small business. They’ll get my $$ from now own. Pi$$ on Dick’s
Fascist, government-connected crooks everywhere. Quit buying. Become more self-sufficient. Learn to manufacture something useful.
Took my brand new sig 226 to the range yesterday and stocked up on ammo. There’s one of these stores very near my office but I drove a little further and bought my ammo at another place.
