COMMERCE CITY, Colo. (CBS4)- The Commerce City Police officer who shot and killed a family dog last month has been charged with animal cruelty.
The shooting happened Nov. 24 when officers received a call of a dog running unattended in the neighborhood.
When officers tried to catch the dog, Chloe, they had trouble. They used a taser and tried a neck harness.
Police Officer Robert Price then fired five shots, killing Chloe. The incident was caught on video.

I watched the vid. The murderer-with-a-badge had to walk up to the dog to kill it after he tasered it twice. That is one STUPID cop! Of course, how many guys who graduate at the top of their class go to cop school?
If he gets fired from the CCPD he can always get a job as a union thug or a brownshirt for owebama’s “civilian defense corpse”.

These union thugs who did this should be FIRED - NO BENEFITS. They should be barred from any future jobs in law enforcement. And they should loose their right to own a firearm. They have demonstrated reckless disregard for the property and feelings of other people in its misuse.

The cop should be lying dead in the dog’s owner’s drive way right now! That’s the only way this stuff is going to stop. The cops have to start paying the price for their actions right on the spot. My heart goes out to the dog’s owner. This should never happen. What’s next, shooting unruly kids?

I knew several in Philadelphia with master's degrees, community policing certificates from Harvard, even law degrees. They were commanders, but had all started out as street cops.

I think if they have a public records law there, you could secure a copy of the police report which should list the name and rank of the miscreant thug criminals in blue.
Just be careful. Cops can and will make your life miserable if they know that you are making an issue of a miscreant in their ranks.
Their unions and training academies create a “them” versus “us” attitude.
Thanks. I will also try to call in to the local radio talk shows. Commerce City has huge management problems as well. The cops are probably worse than the crooks there!
