The urban areas of Illinois may submit, but I doubt even that. If you think the Illinois State Police or even the National Guard is going to go into Englewood to take guns, well, I don’t think so.

Well look, we had an assault weapons ban before and there was no resistance. Gun control used to be a big issue and the infringement on our second amendment rights used to be far worse, yet no resistance. The only way I can see people standing up against it is if something draconian is passed, but that is highly unlikely. Gun restrictions are much more likely to be camels nose under the tent things. They will go back to chipping away at them, but it won’t happen all at once.
