I am certainly no sympathizer with them but a shotgun, ammo, high cap magazines, and a flare gun are not illegal. Even the books, if unused, are not illegal. Scary to think of how stories can be dramatized Of course the actual bomb powder is really illegal, if they are not licensed.
Even if they were licensed to mfg explosives, their improper storage would be illegal.
