Yes it got kicked down the road but this country just elected a president that will not budge on spending in a way that is to our liking. That being said, I pay tens of thousands in federal taxes as it is and am glad that the rates will not go up with this agreement. I can’t afford it.
Maybe your employer, who will more than likely be paying more in taxes,
will decide he has to let a few employees go. Hopefully, u won’t be one
of them. If not, u may not pay more or any taxes at all because u may not have
a job. Sooner than later, the DC Party will come for your tax bracket as well.

Are you in for a rude surprise when they Lower income thresholds at these higher rates..
Recall when FDR started Social Security there only 50,000 beneficiaries, so he as able to get it passed.
To date there are now 50,000,000 and growing.
Welcome to the real world, you know the one where the frog gradually has the fire turned up and doesn’t realize he is toasted
I agree. I was not looking forward to loosing the Bush tax cuts. I can’t afford it either. What amazes me is the freepers here that keep bashing the House. The House submitted a bill, do you really think the dems were ever going to pass anything in the Senate that the House passed. Get real. Obama is in control of the Senate.
I expect the freepers who wanted us to go over the cliff are either independently wealthy or already living off the government. If they are working for a living I’d like them to explain how they were willing to have more of their money taken from them had the cuts been ended.
