What’s a vacation? Unless you count 16 days in a coma/hospital and three months recuperation from cardiac arrest in August 2009, I’ve had 4 days official vacation. Car didn’t work once so we couldn’t go anywhere. This year we didn’t have the money even to fix the car or go anywhere if we could (and still don’t, 207,000 miles on the odometer).
Now I’ve lost my company’s contribution to the 401K plan (for at least 6 months), my taxes are going up, including on Dividends on my own retirement account. If I need another defibrilator, it is going to cost from 2.3 to 3.4 PERCENT MORE (thank you Comrade Obama and your Obamacare, i.e. Obama could care less) program.
Gee, maybe my neighbor can let us swim in his blow-up kiddie pool this summer.
