If instead of the RNC calling, mailing, etc for money all the time, what if there were a TPNC? Would you give to the Tea Party National Committee>

I damn sure don’t give to the RNC but would probably do so for an organized TP.

The politicians who spread the propaganda that it is okay to make certain Americans pay even more than the share because they are successful to keep up the crooked politicians; government do not have my respect. These people in power made this mess throughout the years. Obama will destroy the economy and the cult followers (which they seem that way), to him will never see it coming because they are consumed with hate, an agenda and some only of a jealousy of things that others do have. I won’t be defending those who went along. Republicans are suppose to be the party of less taxes, less government control and more freedom back to the citizen. I will be happy when they finally change and taken over by conservatives or a new conservative party begins because my belief it is the only way to save America from the socialists. They don’t like God. They don’t like guns. They don’t seem to like most Americans.

The Whigs have guaranteed that Pelousi will be the next Speaker. With all the Whig defections, Cry-baby Boehner will be as useful as teets on a boar hog. Glad to see that most of the Confederacy voted NO.

Deo vindice

The real question is why didn’t those who will be crowing they voted against plead with Boner not to bring this up for a vote, offer amendments, stand up and speak against??? Better yet, watch a replay of the vote. It was obvious from the start it would only take 40 votes from republicans for this to pass, so why did so many “no” votes hang back until passage was assured? Why did some early “yeas” change to “no”? You cannot just look at the final votes! You must also look at their individual actions.

Thanks for the post; ping. The plunder of the nation continues unchecked. The forced economic enslavement of "Americans" living and not yet born continues without abatement. Legislative totalitarians living large roam the republic from sea to shining sea. We know the looters names but the "WANTED" posters with bounties are not being printed.

Live in Alabama. Of my 7 reps. the lone Dem voted yes. The one that hurts though is my Senator Jeff Sessions voted yes in the house. I still don’t understand. I have only disagreed with him once on a vote but this one is heartbreaking. :( This has not started out to be a better year.

On the plus side, this means that only 85 house Republicans support Boehner. Boehner went into this vote knowing that it would win with mostly Democrat support.

Since it will be all of congress that votes for the next Speaker of the House, unless these Democrats vote to make Boehner Speaker again, I suspect he is out of there.

If he does become Speaker because Democrats voted for him, he will bring ruination on the Republican caucus, and likely his own self.

Of those 180 plus Repubs who voted no, they should form 30 or 40 and proclaim a new party. They would be the deciding swing voting block in the house. They’d be able to block this upcoming debt ceiling hike.
