Kinda how 2013 has started out for me. I think my “word” for the year will be IRONIC.
At work today and listening to Beck right now...and dang it...he is depressing me. Even Pat. No goofiness. I need goofy. GB is brilliantly explaining how the free market works—and how that extra (2k ???) being taken in taxes will affect a family’s budget...and how THAT WILL AFFECT the economy (kinda like Rose’s weekly hair stylist appt analogy).
I work in a very specific retail environment...totally non essential product line. Have been exchanging texts w/ my co-worker (our winter hours have us working alone on days our employer doesn’t work). Hours cut dramatically (which gives me time to babysit grandbaby) but even little amt I make catches up w/you when you are not bringing it home. Had “small” Christmas (but good!). No vacation in many years. Repairs needed on house...and wondering, what else can we cut?
Sigh. Sorry to whine. Just good to get off chest...P6 I need PowerBall too!

I’m not listening to Beck. I’m listening to Chris Plante on WMAL. He’s been talking about gun sales and gun-banning. Mike the lib on with him right now.
The editorial writer in the Des Moines Register is an idiot.
He said they need to get rid of the second amendment, at least the “gun-part”. Huh? LOL! Obviously he has never read the 2nd amendment!
