It's my understanding that they furnished this school exactly as the old one (using photographs) so that there was less change for the kids.

The old school should be demolished and turned into a memorial site.

We need to explain to our children bad things happen, learn to deal with them and go on with life.

Why waste millions on buildig a new school.

I have been wondering since the ‘event’ if I was missing something.
Ok, move them out of the surroundings of the tragedy.
Makes sense.

Go to the expense (I know money not an object etc) of RECREATING the new surroundings to make it as like the old as possible so it is more comfortable for the students.

Doesn’t one offset the other?

Of course when you are overrun with shrinks, lawyers and idiots, stuff like this happens.
